The thing that always gets me about videos like this is how gentle larger animals are with tiny animals. They give them their space and respect the tiny creatures while being intensely interested in them. So sweet!Oh my gosh. This brings back wonderful memories! Our German Shepherd in the 1950s-60s, Rex, was SOOOOO curious, sweet and gentle with baby animals! My older sister weorked at a veterinary clinic and would occasionally bring home, for care and reintroduction into the wild, baby birds, squirrels, possums and bunnies. Rex was the BEST dad to them! Thanks for triggering such wonderful memories.I miss my German Shepherd also name Rocky. He passed away 4 years ago and he is still my screen saver on my phone. None of my 3 kids ever had that honor. He was also kind , gentle, funny and so smart. Truly the protector of our family. I literally trusted that dog with our lives. He would have taken anyone down if he thought we were in trouble and at the same time be as gentle as a butterfly with a baby. There will never be another like him.
